HERE I AM: Simone Bartesaghi
Welcome to my internet site. In order to introduce myself let me tell, briefly, my story.
When I was young I've always loved writing and telling stories but when at 20 years old I decided to close my creative dreams in a drawer and persue a more concrete career as expert in organization. But I made myself a promise: at 30 you'll open that drawer and try hard to make your dream come true.
Ten years later, a master degree in economy, a wife and a job that was giving me a lot of professional satisfaction my 30th birthday came and that promise, too.
Now I made wrote several screenplayes (for short and feature), I directed several short movies and edited shorts and documentaries for my projects and for other moviemakers too. Besides I won a $ 34,000 scholarship to attend the LA Film School in Los Angeles where I live now. A new road is in front of me now and I'm persuing my goals with the commitement, determination and creativity that I always put in my projects.
I always thought that the reason why a movie is a success is strictly connected to its ability to make the audience feels emotions, suspends his disbelief and enters in a new and amazing world.
Sometimes we keep inside the emotions that we feel in front of the big screen, they stay with us to enrich our luggage of memories and, sometimes, to affect our life.
As moviemaker I'd like to always give to the audience an image, a story, an emotion to keep inside. In this way what was born as a personal experience of the writer/director and, for this reason, destined to die with him, became immortal because shared with the audience.
What was pure immagination became real emotion.
