She started out in Tennessee but by the time she started first grade those little feet had pattered through Pennsylvania, Delaware, Tennessee again, Florida, Texas, and were back in Florida again.      When she was seven the family moved to Aruba where it was quite stylish to go barefoot. There, her father, an avid weekend photographer was employed at the Exxon refinery. As she watched her father photograph the sunsets and divi-divi trees, she would often ask, "Can I take one?"
